Reyum is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation dedicated to Cambodian arts and culture. Reyum provides a forum for research, preservation, and promotion of traditional and contemporary Cambodian arts and culture. Through exhibitions, events, and publications, Reyum aims to stimulate an exchange of ideas, while fostering creative expressions and encouraging further research. All activities presented by Reyum are free and open to the public. Reyum offers a space of encounter for students, professors, townspeople and foreign visitors.
Sovanna Phum (Golden era) is an independent Khmer art association in Phnom Penh. It was created in 1994 in order to give Khmer artists the opportunity to perform their art and to make a living. Today, it has a dynamic network of 120 energetic professional artists. Most of the artists of Sovanna Phum were students and graduates from The Royal University of Fine Arts in Phnom Penh.

Sa Sa Bassac is located at street 3 (Sothearos Blvd), Sangkat Phsar Kandal1, khan Daun Penh, on the 2nd Floor of The Building. Sa Sa Art Projects is a not-for-profit artist-operated space, focuses on the creative and educational experience of the gallery exhibition for artist and audience. Their library is supported by donations: books, periodicals, and our ongoing initiative Cambodian Visual Art Archive (CVAA) will be accessible for public use in our reading/workshop room.
Chaktomuk Theater is Located along Sisowath Quay. Originally opened in 1961 as La Salle de Conference Chaktomuk. It is mainly used now for performances as well as business conferences.
It’s small and not as huge as other complexes in Cambodia but its very distinctive and eye-catching. Reminds me so much of plantation shutters, villas etc. This is one Phnom Penh’s architectural landmarks and well worth the visit.
Bophana Audiovisual Resource Center is an organisation and a center that is trying to gather all movies in Cambodia. In order to try to understand, to try to give a name, a soul, a face and a voice to those whose had been deprived of them. They have collected more than 3 500 audiovisual items about Cambodia, starting from 1899 until now.
Bophana Center is open for the public from Monday to Friday: in the morning, from 8:00am to 12:00am and in the afternoon, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm and also every Saturday afternoon, from 2:00 to 6:00pm.
The Flicks is a movie house located in the south of Phnom Penh on Street 95 not so far from Tuol Sleng. They show everything from kids movies, documentaries, classics to the latest releases.
The Flicks also has early morning yoga and language classes (Khmer and English) in the afternoon
They also have a bar that serves drinks, popcorn and other snacks.
Chenla Theartre is originally opened in 1969 as the Cinéma d’Etat (State Cinema), the Chenla Theatre underwent a complete facelift in 2002, becoming part of the Phnom Penh Cultural Centre.
Legend Cinema is the first cinema in Cambodia screening licensed Hollywood Movies. Legend Cinema is placed on the 3rd floor at City Mall.

Meta House is a German-Cambodian cultural center that was founded by the German filmmaker Nico Mesterharm and his Cambodian team in January 2007. They have more than 100 sq. metres of art exhibition space and an open-air media lounge on the rooftop overlooking Phnom Penh, the three storey gallery offers an excellent space for artists-in-residence and visiting artists to interact.
Meta House actively supports Cambodian artists and promotes the development of contemporary art in Cambodia through local and international exhibitions, workshops, community-based projects, artist exchange programs and by fostering links with South East Asian and international universities, galleries, curators, non-governmental and governmental organizations.
